Hat Yai Campus

PSU’s main campus is located in the busy, commercial city of Hat Yai in Songkhla province, the hub of trade and economy of the major provinces in the Lower South. Hat Yai campus, with its attractive landscape, provides a serene setting ideal for education and learning and is the center of various disciplines, including Health Science, Science and Technology, Engineering, Management Sciences, Liberal Arts, Economics, Law, Natural Resources, Environment Management, and Agro-Industry.

The city of Hat Yai is about 60 km from the Malaysian border, one hour flying from Bangkok and 30 km from the beautiful tropical long beaches of Songkhla. It is a modern city, with a vibrant mix of Thai, Chinese, and Malay influences, making Hat Yai a thrill to visit with many cultural and modern entertainment attractions.

Pattani Campus

Pattani Campus, situated on the seafront in Pattani Province, is a campus with a multicultural society, the center of diverse cultures and traditions, and rich in resources. It offers education in Social Sciences, Humanities, Fine and Applied Arts, Political Science, Education, Islamic Studies, Communication Technology, Rubber and Polymer, Food Technology and Fisheries, corresponding with the context of resources and cultural life of residents of the Lower South, with their own identities. One of the main studying features of the Pattani Campus is that it embraces the College of Islamic Studies where Arabic, Islamic theology and Shari’ah subjects are in high demand.

Pattani is the Muslim centre of the South and home to hundreds of elegant mosques like Pattani Central Mosque, the largest and most beautiful mosque in Thailand. There is a strong economy revolving around seafood and a thriving handicraft cottage industry, with batik, artificial flowers, woodcarvings and wickerwork the main items made for export.

Phuket Campus

Phuket Campus is set on the island of Phuket, also known as the Pearl of the Andaman Sea. The island is well-known worldwide for being a tourist attraction and a busy center of hotel industry and services that suit both national and international tourism. Thus it is not surprising that Phuket campus concentrates on teaching and learning in Tourism and Service Industry, Foreign Relations, and Information Technology, and aims to be an international campus, befitting the status of Phuket as a world-class tourist resort. In response to the government policy, the campus is also promoting the software industry.

Phuket is Thailand's largest island and enjoys great popularity as a travel destination. Famous for its beautiful beaches, stunning tropical sunsets and warm blue seas, excellent offshore dive sites and superb sailing opportunities, Phuket is Thailand and the world’s premier holiday resort.

Surat Thani Campus

Surat Thani Campus, established in the cultural and economic center of the upper southern provinces, offers education services in Science and Industrial Technology, Liberal Arts, and Management Sciences, in support of the growth in industrial businesses of the Upper South. It is a leading tertiary education center of the Upper Southern Thailand with the mandate to produce competent graduates, to provide academic services to community, and to preserve heritage in arts and culture.

Surat Thani is the largest southern province of Thailand, located on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Thailand, and is a gateway to the islands of Thailand's eastern coast: Ko Samui, Ko Tao (great for scuba diving), and Ko Phangan, and also to the natural beauty of several National Parks, such as Khao Sok and Mu Ko Ang Thong. Surat Thani is also famous for coconuts, mainly picked by pig-tailed monkeys, which are trained in special schools around the province.

Trang Campus

Trang Campus, situated on a plain in the most populated province of the West Coast of the South, focuses on education in Commerce and Management, to support trade and investment in the region.

Trang is famous for its many islands with sandy beaches and for beautiful views and underwater scenery at numerous offshore islands. The underwater world in Trang is so popular that it is the venue for an annual underwater wedding ceremony, with couples coming from around the world to get married in scuba gear on Valentine's Day. Caves, lakes, waterfalls and hot springs are plentiful within the province.
