On December 18th of 2017, Professor Dr. Sirirurg Songsivilai, M.D., Secretary of National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) held a press conference at Field Marshall Sarit Thanarat Meeting Hall, National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) to announce and congratulate PSU researchers who have won awards from 2018 Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF 2017). Assistant Professor Dr. Malee Sabaiying, Deputy Director of RDO for Humanities and Social Sciences, presented bouquet and souvenirs to the awardees.
Among the awardees were 2 PSU researchers, Assistant Professor Dr. Narit Thaochan for his research titled “Insect attractants-coated rubber foam to control fruit flies” and Ms. Duangrat Mydee for her research titled “Positioning tool for vitrious injection”

Seoul Invention Fair 2017 or SIIF 2017 is one of the largest technology and invention fairs in the world organized by COEX Korea Exhibition Center. This year, the Fair showcased science and technology innovations from 43 countries around the world while also serves as a gateway to the world market and a place for innovators to exchange ideas. RDO is extremely proud that PSU researchers were able to showcase their talents and received the awards.
