The International Conference on Biometrics Technology and Applications (ICOBEA) 2019

The 1st International Conference on Biometrics Technology and Applications (ICOBEA) 2019 is the first international conference organised by the Green Advanced Computing and Technology (GREAT) Research Group - Center of Excellence Geopolymer and Green Technology (CEGeoGTech), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). The ICOBEA 2019 conference is a platform to bring together researchers, developers and practitioners from academia and industry working in all interdisciplinary areas of Computer Security. 

In conjunction with our conference, we are also organising the JICETS Academic Workshop that aims to support participants to develop their researches to a further stage through in-depth discussions.

Associate Professor Dr. Masoud Mohammadian from University of Canberra, Australia will be giving his keynote speech and also a talk at one of the workshop sessions. He specialises in adaptive self-learning systems, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, neural networks and application of computational intelligence techniques for learning and adaptation of intelligent systems and intelligent agents for decision making, data security and privacy, web-based information filtering, data mining and cloud computing in public sector.
