The PSU International Affairs Office has been notified by the Hat Yai Immigration Office about the following immigration regulations:

  •  All foreigners must notify their residence ("Notification for Owner of Residence where Alien has Stayed" / TM. 30) to local immigration authorities:
    - new staff and students: within 24 hours after the first arrival in Thailand
    - staff and students being in Thailand for several years will be requested the housing notification for the next Visa Extension (please do the housing

  • Foreigners travelling abroad must report themselves to the Immigration Office within 24 hours after re-entering Thailand by notifying again their residence (requested for every time a foreigner re-enter Thailand).

The "Notification for Owner of Residence where Alien has Stayed" (TM. 30) can be downloaded from: http://www.interaffairs.psu.ac.th/visa-for-international-students-and-staff

We would like to advise all foreigners to do their housing notification as soon as possible, if not fines may apply. If you already did it, please remember to notify the Immigration Office again when re-entering Thailand in case you travel abroad.
